My best friend just found out two days ago that her 9 month old baby has Leukemia. She went in for an upper respiratory infection that was not cured with antibiotics and they found that her WBC (white blood cell) count was 300,000. Normal range is 1,000-10,000. They transported her to Egleston where she had her first round of chemo yesterday. She will start her treatments today in 28 day cycles with chemo lasting 5-14 days twice per cycle depending on how well she responds. After the first two treatments they will test her and if she is in remission she will have 2 more rounds just to be on the safe side. If not, she will have a bone marrow transplant. If she is in remission after that, she will have another 2 rounds of chemo again to be safe. Please send this out to the committee. She needs as many people praying as she can get. I’ve attached a picture so that people will see that this is just another reason to relay.
